Luc Fortin and Richard Léveillé, along with accordionist Marin Nasturica and double bass player Michel Donato, will be performing together for the very first time at Salle Pauline-Julien on Saturday, November 14th at 8:00 pm. They will be presenting Escale, their latest production featuring world jazz flavours.

After having navigated the great musical seas of the world for several years, the quartet has arrived safe and sound and is stopping over just long enough to perform unpublished compositions and interpretations of some of Django Reinhardt and Félix Leclerc's musical pieces. Amazing jam sessions will also be part of the mix. North, South, East and West — the waters merge and the lapping of the waves generates rich, uninhibited, universal and timeless sounds. "For these musicians, music has no borders: blues, gypsy swing, waltz music, gypsy samba." -Translated from a French journal published in the weekly VOIR

This concert will be presented "cabaret style" with reserved seating. This set up features a ground-level section comprised of tables and chairs, as well as a grandstand section. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Coat check is free and mandatory. Tickets can be purchased at the Salle Pauline-Julien ticket office (15615 Gouin Boulevard West, Sainte-Geneviève – West Island of Montreal) starting at $23.00, or via the Admission network at 514 790-1245. Furthermore, upon presentation of the Carte Accro à la culture, available for individuals 25 years of age or under, the cost of the ticket is $10.00.
