What a nice article. I also carried the olympic torch in Brockville in 1988. I am from Huntsville, Ontario but was choosen to run there. I was 18years at the time, and didn't get any pictures. I also still have all my stuff, and my touque. Thanks for a great article Shelley Lupton

I wish to see photos of torch bearing ceremony at Dollard des Ormeaux town hall on De Salaberry. My son Peter Pettas was attending the ceremony with the elemantary school Socrates of West Island and was permited under the immediate supervision of the torch bearer to hold the Olympian flame torch for several minutes and I am wondering if a photo was taken. This is a great honor for my family as we are of Greek origin and I am hopeful that a journalist might have captured this priceless moment on camera. I will greatly appreciate your assistance in helping find, if it exists, a photo of my son bearing the Olympian light. You may communicate with me at 514-770-7057.
