More than 250 top business and community leaders rallied to support the local community and raise $70,000 at West Island Community Shares’ 5th Red & White Benefit Evening. The sold-out event was held on January 26th at 40 Westt Steakhouse. West Island Community Shares is a fundraising organization with a structure that is unique in Canada. Corporate partners help cover administrative costs, allowing it to distribute 100% of funds raised to the community groups it supports.
