Why are so many Calgarians adopting the Riders, not the Als? "Cuz we're a bunch of likeable guys!" chuckles Riders Coach Ken Miller, the CFL's Uncle Buck.

Michael Cammalleri in touch with his "inner goon"? A tree can fall in the forest, but in the Brossard Fishbowl you can actually here the sounds of no punches being thrown.

Would your wife let you do this on your 5th wedding anniversary? Fly out to Grey Cup to massage another man?! Scott Suter has brought wife Allison to Calgary for physical therapy sessions with Anthony Calvillo and Ben Cahoon. Scott even brought that Bolivian grain that AC swears by, and will use Anthony's rice-steamer to cook up meals on gameday. Cahoon's got the Velcro Hands, but Scott's got the magic hand.

What's the Als' secret motivation message for Grey Cup? Told you about Coach Squires using a cowboy gunfight film clip to fire up the Als' special teams units before the Eastern Final. Walter Spencer reveals to CJAD there was no pop-culture film clip in the final team meeting on the eve of Grey Cup. But Spencer, a Tasmanian Devil on coverage units, says a simple picture was ingrained in their eyes...The Cup at the top of a Rocky Mountain. Time to win the day by climbing that mountain.

Told you about Peter Dalla Riva's options for future Als' Hall of Fame Nominees. So I asked Peter where he's sitting Grey Cup Sunday? "At home," says the alltime great Tight End. Silly me asked Peter if he started playing football in high school?! "I never went to high school," says the 3-time Grey Cup champ who always joked he's a graduate of "Stelco U". "I worked in the steel mill at 15, but couldn't get into Stelco or Dofasco because you had to be 18. Football got me out of the mills."

How's this for a dream-team: do you know who Dalla Riva's junior football teammate was when he pulled on the shoulder pads and helmet for the first time at the age of 20? Fellow Hall of Famer Tony Gabriel. Peter wants to be home so he can follow the game more closely on his tv than an obscure view at McMahon Stadium. I suspect it is also because the quiet icon also wants to stay out of sight and let the current day players savour victory.
