Doesn't your football heart ache already for Ben Cahoon? Congrats on the Parade Crowd for DEMANDING to hear from Velcro Hands on the podium. Congrats for urging him: "One More Year!!!" But that sure struck me as the face of a man who's already decided the best route for him to run is to go deep to Utah and be with his family. Hope I'm wrong, Ben!

The moral of the Tiger in the Rough Affair? Actually overheard someone in Buffalo say the moral is "every man should have 2 phones!" NO. I'm with Elin. If someone else is swinging Tiger's Clubs, how come Mrs. Tiger can't swing one?

Did you know Carey has a secret for the Centennial? He couldn't resist showing me in the Habs' room long after the other media had left here in Buffalo. Carey's new mask---he hasn't even worn it once in practise yet---is different from the one he showed off at the start of the season for the 100th Anniversary occasion. This new 'secret mask' has Patrick Roy hoisting the Cup depicted, it has Carey's Dad's goalie coach at his one and only NHL tryout camp Jacques Plante depicted, and other Habs goalies of the Hall of Fame from Vezina to Dryden.

So is Jaro starting against the Sabres just to rest Carey up for the Bruins on the Centennial? "No" says coach. Carey after practise sure sounded like he's hoping for the start.

Do sticks really matter at the NHL level? Carey was shooting pucks after practise with Hal Gill....Carey shooting from his own blueline to the far end of the ice could hit the top corner while using a Benoit Pouliot stick. As soon as Carey borrowed Gill's stick? Trouble getting it there on the fly!

My favorite moment as a Habs fan over the first 100 years? Saku coming back after beating cancer of course, but my FIRST favorite moment was Dryden's save vs. the Blackhawks!

Bet you can't guess why Steve Rooney and Doug Soetart are linked to my fondest Stanley Cup memories? Tell ya tomorrow.

Tackiest Tiger headline yet? My BestMan Glenn in Vancouver tells me he saw this one...."TIGER'S A CHEETAH!" Think if his other sponsors drop him when more of the harem come forward he could team up with Ben Johnson for that awful "energy" drink?!
