Quebec Premier, Jean Charest, steps off the campaign bus this past Saturday in Kirkland.

As Quebec Premier, Jean Charest, stepped off the campaign bus this past Saturday in Kirkland, he was asked by our reporter whether the Liberals take the West Island for granted.

Here's his response, in his own words: "That's false. We take nothing for granted; especially in the West Island. With the current campaign, the choices that are made are even more important for West Island residents. Just think of what Mr. Legault wants to do to school boards. On the topic of Quebec's future, he says he's neutral. As if a party leader could possibly be neutral on something like that!

With the current campaign, the choices that are made are even more important for West Island residents.

What people choose will be very important. People need to make sure to get out and vote. Those who believe that Quebec's future is within Canada need to get out and vote."
