Fire tears through Pierrefonds apartment building

A fire tore through a Pierrefonds apartment complex Thrusday afternoon.

Firefighters say the blaze started in a second-floor unit.

At least one man was taken to hospital after jumping from a second-floor balcony of the Pierrefonds Boulevard building.

Several firefighters and tenants were treated for smoke inhalation and heat exhaustion.
