Vandals spray-painted at least a dozen Baie d’Urfé homes on June 2 overnight, and police are asking graffiti victims to file official complaints to help them in their investigation. “We’ve had six official complaints, but we know about over a dozen home, for sure,” said police Station 1 Const. Jean-Pierre Lévis.

Most of graffiti occurred on Calais, Normandie, and other smaller streets in the vicinity.

Police do not have any suspects yet, but Lévis said input from victims or anyone who might have witnessed something will help them move forward in their investigation.

Station 1 police will be stepping up patrols over the summer. With the end of the school year, police Station 1 Const. Jean-Pierre Lévis said incidents of drunk and disorderly behaviour has been on the rise. Police will be patrolling the streets and parks by bicycle, in cars, and also in civilian clothing. They will enforce curfews and other municipal bylaws.
