Dame Elizabeth Taylor died Wednesday morning of congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The legendary film actress was 79.
“She was surrounded by her children - Michael Wilding, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd, and Maria Burton,” Taylor’s publicist, Sally Morrison, confirmed.
Not only was she one of the most memorable movie stars of all time, but Taylor was also a dedicated humanitarian who raised tens of millions of dollars for AIDS research.
She was laid to rest Thursday at a small funeral service attended by family members and close friends at celebrity-filled Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California.

Chris Brown is an Idiot, Part Two:
The appalling singer also known as Chris Brown stormed out of Good Morning America’s Times Square studio Tuesday – shirtless, I should add.
When GMA anchor Robin Roberts inquired about the legal issues still stemming from the 2009 Rihanna assault case, Brown replied, “This album is what I want people to hear and people to really get into…this album is what I want them to talk about and not stuff that happened two years ago.”
Following the interview, Brown performed one song, then stormed into his dressing room screaming and literally destroyed it – even going so far as to smash a window!!
Instead of apologizing, Brown has since blamed GMA, claiming he was “thrown off” by the questions, and that Rihanna was brought up to “exploit” him. Brown justified his tantrum by saying that he did it “to release the anger that I had inside me.” One thing’s for sure: this guy needs help – fast.

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen MAY have broken up. Earlier this week, there were reports that the couple ended it - for real this time.
“They’re done this time… Engagement’s over, relationship’s over. She’s really had it,” a source said.
The couple got engaged in December 2008, but called off the engagement in August 2010, reportedly due to the distance caused by their work schedules. The Jumper co-stars then got back together a few months later.
However, Bilson’s rep is now denying the whole thing, saying, There is no truth to this, Rachel and Hayden are still dating.”
So unfortunately, I don’t know what’s going on right now. But given the number of times these two have broken up, I’d say it’s probably time to move on. The former O.C. star and her ex-fiancé are both 29.
