Sustainable fair raises awareness, funds

A sustainable holiday fair in support of the David Suzuki Foundation was hosted recently by Centre Holistique Om West, a Pointe Claire Village yoga studio.

The event raised just over $450 for the David Suzuki Foundation.

There were eco-presentations about composting and climate change as well as yoga and drumming classes. The fair offered a great opportunity for people to do some environmentally friendly holiday shopping, said Om West owner and yoga teacher Yasmin Fudakowska-Gow.
