Imagine spending $46-mill on Canada Day fireworks and your audience still ain't sure if you're firing Duds or Studs?

Is that why Brian Burke was grinning that Grinch-like grin at the Draft last Friday...cuz he knew he was opening the vault for the Koma-saurus?

Are you willing to forgive Hal Gill his status as ex-Bruin and ex-Leaf for a glimpse of his Penguins ring?

Can Komasaurus suddenly make peace with Mikhail Grabovski?

Who is the next C? If Kovalev's not coming back, and even if he is, doesn't Josh Gorges strike you as the best character guy in that dressing room? Josh was a captain in junior and my other choice would have been Francis Bouillon---only he may only get a 'hometown discount' offer too!

Aren't you surprised the biggest Canada Day shockers for Bart Andrus are not learning intricacies of the Canadian aerial game but the off-the-wall reciever corps tribute to Michael Jackson on endzone celebrations?

Arland Bruce followed the first TD of 2009 with a dance kick in honour of MJ. That strikes me as an even worse omen than my dream on the eve of the Als' first roadtrip. I actually dreamt that AC was splitting time between the Als and Argos, had had to play both games of the doubleheader on Opening Night. Only he was injured and couldn't get up after the Argos' first play on offense.
