DOES REMOVING "THE SPHYNX" FOR "THE GHOST" FALL UNDER THE HEADING OF "MEET THE NEW BOSS, SAME AS THE OLD BOSS"? The Habs are still winning every game you give them no hope, and losing every game you've already banked the 2 points.

If Bob Gainey's really going to take up piano, who 'bout starting with "Fix You"--Coldplay? If there's a Hockey God whose got pull with the Piano Gods, it won't be long before Bob's accompanying Great Big Sea.

Marc Trestman is confirmed as a finalist for CFL Coach of the Year Honours against Ken Miller, his Grey Cup rival. Should the winner be the one who can count to 12, not 13?

If the Capitals name Ovechkin captain and he rips off 16 goals in 18 games, maybe the Habs should sow a "C" on Metro's chest? And D'Agostini's? And Lapierre's?

Play of the game vs. the Ovechkins? Graham Rynbend, Nick Addey-Jibb and Dr. David Mulder for their speedy, calm and caring response to the Josh Gorges scare.

Did we really need the reminders this season hockey is a game with swords on your feet and bullets on the blade of your stick?

Minutes earlier on our CJAD broadcast, I'd pointed out Josh was one of only 4 players to appear in every game this season. Can't you please get rid of your voodoo doll now? At the risk of jinxing the others, can you guess who the Ironmen are? Plek, Moen, Lapierre. But don't tell anyone.

With 7.5 seconds left in overtime, could you have forgiven agent Rick Curran for texting, tweeting or just old-school phoning Pierre Gauthier to return his call?

Plek downplays the state of 'negotiations'..."they haven't started" he admits, but what about #14 for captain if he stays. Truth is I've always thought Josh Gorges was maybe a year or 2 of experience and a Berlitz course away from being a fine choice.

Any coincidence The Ghost had The Invisible Man at Brossard on Game Day before the Canadiens beat the Capitals? The Habs' sports psychologist was spotted. The Power of Positive Thinking? Plek and his agent are sure feeling it!

Sports psych guru Wayne Halliwell is already in Vancouver with Jenn Heil and Alex Bilodeau. My advice: Don't let them watch Canada AM. The gush-fest will turn you off the Olympic Spirit. I couldn't bear to watch anymore and the Vancouver Summer Games haven't even started yet.

Can I nominate Obama for another Nobel Prize if he sends Washington's snow to B.C.?
