Have you watched the fatal luge video? I refuse to. If Youtube yanked it, why would some tv networks keep it up on their sites? Don't we have laws against "snuff films"? What's the V stand for in that Consortium, "Vampire"?

How dare you bash Nikki's anthem, OUR anthem?! But I must tell you, during the Super Bowl party I was at, every time she did that chest-shake move during "I Believe", every woman in the room shook their heads.

Current market-value for an ounce of gold? If it's the gold in an Olympic Men's Hockey medal, it could cost $123.861 million. That's the combined salaries of Team Canada in Vancouver. And truth is there's only about a fifth of an ounce of gold in a medal! Guess Stevie Y is happy he doesn't have to pay them.

Shouldn't Jim Popp get a silver for keeping the Als offense and the coaching staff intact? No gold Jim, because Keron Williams off the d-line is a big loss even if Jermaine McElveen could be ready to step up his role in the D-line rotation. Williams was a motivational multi-media artist for the Als: he'd edit dvd's of players' highlights set to their favorite beats. He made the "WTD--Win the Day" t-shirts many Als players and staff wore throughout Grey Cup Week, in some cases under their game-day jerseys.

Is PK Subban the next Guillaume Latendresse? Not by a longshot. So all that chanting "PK, PK"....fuggedabowdit. He's fun to watch and he's trying. That appeared to be better than many in that disappointing loss before the Olympic Break.

What's the taste of victory for our medalists? Former Habs' strength coach Scott Livingston, working with Jenn Heil and Alex Bilodeau, says they closed out their Silver&Gold weekend with a champagne cruise around Vancouver Harbour and Stanley Park on a boat moored by one of their corporate sponsors. Here's to more bubbly and more precious medals.
