NOW WILL COACH MARTIN ADMIT JARO'S #1? Not on your life. But Halak stays in goal against the Bruins despite Carey's 3-0 record and 0.97 GAA vs. Boston this season, but Martin says Jaro salvaged the starting assignment with clutch saves in his less than stellar outing against Edmonton. Halak rushed off the ice first in frustration, despite having gone 5-for-5 in the shootout and stoning Horcoff on a shorthanded breakaway in overtime.

Why will Habs fans cheer for Patrice Bergeron tonite? Only because PRE-game, the Olympic medalists in the house will be honoured. After opening faceoff Patrice, you can expect to be jeered Chara-style every time you touch the puck!

Blackface at the Bell Centre? RDS caught it on camera Thursday---2 fans shaming themselves iwth afro-wigs to complete their look, though I didn't see it myself. My good friend Pierre Houde and I hope that the idiots in "PK Subban" costume think again before such an insulting tribute. As M. Houde points out, Lewis Hamilton and Tiger Woods had to stomach the same misguided adulation.

Who's the next Anthony Calvillo in the CFL? My advice to Buck Peirce is this: don't be shy about taking a year behind the Als' o-line and learning the offense behind AC and McPherson and even Chris Leak. There's no shame in retreat when it saves your life and let's your brain unscramble. Problem is Buck has an agent who puts the big bucks in front of the longterm vision. But if no one's willing to shell out for the shell-shocked former BC Lion, Jim Popp would be wise to snag him for his next great QB-recycling project.

How smart is Maxim Lapierre? Smart enough not to put his skate in his mouth when asked how he felt about serving 4 games while Matt Cooke got off scott-free for decking Marc Savard.

Tiger back for the Masters? Yes but maybe he was thinking it was the Masters&Johnson Open?

Wanna win a roadtrip to Toronto to beat the Leafs next weekend? Be listening to the Andrew Carter Morning Show at 8:25AM Monday.

Wanna take one last loving look at the Grey Cup before the Als put their 13th Man Miracle behind them? See you at the Parade tomorrow!
