IS ANYONE REALLY OUTRAGED ABOUT TIGER'S SEXTING? Truth is our kids have been listening to more disgusting lyrics in rap songs for more than a decade.

DID YOU HERE THE LEAFS ARE PLANNING BIG CENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS? They're planning to mark the 100th anniversary of their last Cup by making the playoffs in 2067.

WHY DID I FEEL A SENSE OF RELIEF SEEING BOB GAINEY AROUND THE TEAM HOTEL IN TORONTO THIS WEEKEND? Because he'll never get enough credit for the job he did in Montreal and noone who rushed him out the door is giving Mr. Gainey the credit for the March Madness we're enjoying right now!

IF ANDREI K GETS IT GOING SUDDENLY, WILL IT BE ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE "GAINEY EFFECT"? The ex-GM/special consultant checked in on the Bulldogs and his Canadiens this weekend, taking a moment for a lengthy chat with the AK46. Perhaps a walk along the Toronto waterfront would have harkened back to his heart-to-heart with Kovie in the Old Port? Perhaps Kovie could use Mr. Gainey's words of wisdom along the banks of the Ottawa Canal these days!

IS BAUER STICKHANDLING AROUND A LEAD-PAINT RECALL ON ITS KIDS' STICKS? My colleague Ric Peterson points out that by offering to swap 100,000 cheaper sticks for an adult stick with a higher sticker price, Bauer is trying to turn a negative to a positive. I've got no problem with that, except that apparently that superior stick they're offering doesn't go thru the rigorous lead-checks that your kids deserve.

WHY ARE SCALPERS IN LOVE WITH TIGER WOODS? I'm sorry, they call them "brokers" in some parts of the United States of Obama, but he's juiced up the ticket prices for Augusta. And if you're wondering why some sponsors hung tough through his "transgressions", how about a $36-million dollar value in media exposure for Nike if Tiger wins it all. I'll bet some men in the marketing offices would let Tiger beeyatch-slap them for le$$!!!!!!$$$$$$$

Vinnie Damphousse is doing a Poker tournament to raise money for the fight against Lou Gehrig's Disease next week. Wouldn't Vinnie be great for next season's Battle of the Blades? At least he can jump in his own Scandinave hot-tub if he strains anything.

If you're Pierre Gauthier, don't you want to re-sign Dominic Moore? I don't think Moore's agent Larry Kelly will be as greedy as some NHL people tell me he was on Dom's behalf after the season is over. Dom tells me he'd be happy to talk, but like Plek, doesn't want anything to distract from the Playoff Push right now.
