Ste.Anne summer schedule features something for everybody

Every Wednesday until Aug. 13, Ste. Anne de Bellevue invites the public to a series of eight concerts, held on the city's fabled boardwalk.

Carefully selected by event organizer Doug Miller, the bands will be performing rain or shine. Pedro Ullman, Emma Frank and Kim Richardson are only a few of the artists that will be rocking the West Island. "This is a great opportunity for residents to have a great time, discover great local bands and spend a nice evening by the waterfront," said Miller.

Wednesdays are not the only day that will make you want to leave the house. Movies such as Mr. Peabody and Sherman are presented during Family Thursdays and Animated Fridays on the Boardwalk offer a variety of amusements, performance artists and entertainers.

Watch out for summer festivals and events as well – including a show performed from the deck of the sailboat Amarazee of the Caravan Stage Company on Aug. 29, 30 and 31.

In case of rain, Concerts on the Boardwalk and other events will take place at the Harpell Centre, 60 St. Pierre St. Lawn chairs are OK on the Boardwalk. The shows start at 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday.
