Police are actively searching for a 13-year-old girl who has been missing since late last month. The 13-year-old girl was last seen at her place of residence Jan. 30 at 8:30 p.m., said a Montreal police spokesman. Tatiana Isabel Sanchez has not been seen since the evening and police are actively searching for her.
The teen stands about five-foot-four and weighs about 110 pounds police said. She has Hispanic features and speaks French and English, confirmed Const. Simon Delorme of the Montreal Police Service. The girl has a history of running away, police said, and police are concerned for her well-being, Delorme said.
"We have information that leads us to believe she's still alive, but we are concerned for her safety and well-being," Delorme said. Police also believe the youngster is still in the Montreal area.
"She could be in downtown Montreal, on the north side, in Ahuntsic, Pierrefonds or Laval – anywhere in the Montreal area," he said. Witnesses who spot the youngster are asked to call 911 or Info-Crime at 514-393-1133.
