While Kirkland decided to purchase two electronic boards to improve communication with residents for a total amount of $190,497.48, Dollard des Ormeaux is going back to tender to replace its current Sources Boulevard board for a bigger one while adding a new one on Spring Garden Street.
In Kirkland, the city wants to acquire two double-sided electronic signs that will be installed on St. Charles Boulevard. Four bids were received by the city and council accepted the lowest one made by Mega Electro-Inc.
