The 12-year-old Dorval resident who killed his 16-year-old brother in the family home with a firearm Jan. 21 was allowed to go to the funeral parlour yesterday (Thursday), where the remains of his brother are exposed. The date of the official funeral has not been fixed yet.
The youngster, who is kept in custody in a youth centre since the tragedy, was escorted to go to the funeral home, located in Lachine, where family and friends gathered in privacy.
The youngster is accused of manslaughter and possession of a prohibited weapon. He must appear before the Youth Court on Feb. 8.
