Michael Montagano cites personal reasons

Beaconsfield District 1 councillor Michael Montagano resigned from his position on Oct. 17 citing personal reasons. The city voted Monday to request from the provincial government that the by-election to fill in the empty seat is cancelled due to the fact that the general election was only one year and 12 days away.
