Excellent Ice-Kirkland is excited to announce that it will host the 11th Edition of their Annual “King of the Pond” 3-on-3 Hockey Tournament from Wednesday April 29th to Sunday May 3rd, 2009. This year’s tournament will have special meaning as the tournament will be held in honour of Errol Marc Cutler, who passed away, at the age of 46 from Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia- 1 of the 4 types of Leukemia; this type is most predominantly found in adults. In doing so, a portion of the money raised during the tournament will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, in association with their annual “Light the Night” fundraising event (this year’s national spokesperson is Tina Fey), a nationwide walk to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by blood cancer.

Excellent Ice - Kirkland hosts an Adult Spring Tournament every year. This year's tournament takes place April 29 - May 3, 2009, and features six divisions: A, B, C, D, Over 40 and Women's. You are guaranteed 3 games before semi-finals and finals. The cost is $450.00 tax included per team.
