The first annual Spin for your Community, a benefit for West Island Community Shares and the McGill Cardiovascular Health Improvement Program (CHIP) took place Sunday at Mansfield Athletic Club in Pointe Claire.

Spirits and energy levels were high as about 60 participants energetically pedaled their way to raising $5,600.

Organizers are already looking forward to increasing both the fundraising goal and the number of participants at next year’s event. <@Cp>Chronicle, Jacques Pharand<@$p>
