This Young Achiever spends a great deal of her time with her head in the clouds – and flipping through them! The Grade 8 student at College Ste. Anne is an accomplished competitive gymnast with the WimGym club. In April of this year, Katerina won the gold medal in all-around competition at the provincial championships. Coupled with another Elite Canada competition from the previous year, Katerina earned herself a place on the Quebec National Novice Team and represented Quebec at the national championships held in Calgary. Lest you think the Pointe Claire resident is all brawn and no brains, she is a fixture on the honour roll at her school. WimGym administrator Susan Mullins wrote that Katerina's 'scholastic performance, work ethic, positive attitude and pleasant personality make her an unparalleled role model for her peers.' Congratulations, Katerina!
