In addition to being an outstanding athlete, this Young Achiever gets it done in the classroom as well. Allison was named Ecole Primaire Pointe Claire's outstanding athlete of the year this past June. She ran for the school in Grades 4, 5 and 6, and represented Lac St. Louis at the 2007 provincial track and field championships. She is an active member of the West Island Track Club and excels at downhill skiing as well. In addition, Allison gets straight As in the classroom and has been an active member of the Girl Guides for the past seven years, and recently earned the Lady Baden Powell award, the highest honour accorded in the guiding system. She has also given back by tutoring younger children, volunteering in the office and school and generally being a role model for her peers. She also gave her time singing Christmas carols for seniors and participating in food drives. Congratulations, Allison!
