This Young Achiever is making beautiful music in the community – literally and figuratively. Carly, a Pointe Claire resident is an extremely busy young person. Upon her graduation from St. John Fisher elementary school last year, Carly was awarded a plaque for excellence in music as well as the citizenship award and for being a member of the school's Community Team. Moreoever, Carly participates in school intramurals and inter-scholastic sports such as hurdles and sprints, where she won medals at the Lester B. Pearson School Board's annual track and field competition. She also participated in the Halo Run on Mount Royal and earned the lead role in the school play. Aside from her other interests of reading, swimming, diving, singing and dancing, Carly organized a bake sale that brought in hundreds of dollars – and the money was used to adopt an elephant at Granby Zoo. Carly also enjoys playing the piano for seniors and performed at the school board's annual Commissioners' Concert.
