This Young Achiever is a leader at her school and beyond! Amanda is a regular on the honour roll at Lakeside Academy, and was the only student in her grade to achieve an academic average above 90 per cent last year. This active and involved young woman regularly donates more than 40 hours of her time, over and above her classes, to student life at the school. More recently, the International Baccalaurate student's personal project for 2009, called 'Behind the scenes in filmmaking', was selected as one of the world's top submissions. Amanda also regularly donated more than forty hours per semester to student life, working on welcome camps for Grade 7 students, the Terry Fox Run, school dances and variety shows and leadership camps. Amanda also likes to express herself creatively through drama, both on stage and on camera. Congratulations, Amanda!
