Sarto Desnoyers Community Centre (SDCC) will be having its Skateboarding Season Official Opening on June 13 at the S Zone located in the SDCC parking lot (1335 Lakeshore Drive) from 3p.m. to 7p.m. The park is equipped with ramps ideal for skateboarders, BMX riders and in-line skaters. Keep in mind that protective equipment (including helmets, elbow and knee pads) are required. During the opening DJs will be on hand and hotdogs and drinks will be served. The Dorval Library will be hosting its “Startin’ Summer Picnic” June 17 from 6p.m. to 10p.m. on the library grounds (1401 Lakeshore Drive). There will be storytime for the children and the Lakeshore Concert Band for all to enjoy. Bring your own dinner. Dessert will be served by the Friends of the Library. Novartis Pharma Canada Inc. will be hosting its Novartis Summer Concert series beginning Monday June 23 with the Generations Big Band. All shows will be held on Mondays at 7:30p.m. at Pine Beach Park. Bring your own lawn chair or rent one for $1.00. All concerts are free. In case of rain the concerts will be relocated to the Sarto Desnoyers Community Centre 1335 Lakeshore Drive. For more information visit www.city.dorval.qc.ca.
