Nabil Naccache, better known in West Island football circles as “Nab” is now coaching football at DDO’s Alexander Park.  For years, Naccache was a provincial championship coach with North Shore’s Bantam Lions and Midget Mustangs football clubs.  As a matter of fact when interviewed recently coach Nab proudly showed off his Lions provincial championship ring from the eighties that he still wears today.  “I came over to Alexander from the Sunnybrooke football program where I was involved from 2000 until 2010. I wanted to stay in the game and work with coaches Bob Guigui and Warren McCaffrey who are friends of mine,” said Naccache.  Naccache is this year’s defensive coordinator for the Alexander Peewee Roughriders.  “It’s fun and it helps me to be a better person when I am involved with coaching,” continued Naccache.  Coach Naccache and his team mates are next at DDO’s McHugh field to face West Park on Sat., Sept. 24 and return home on Oct. 1. Peewee game times are at 09:30 a.m.
