Pointe Claire diver medals

A member of the Pointe Claire Diving Club won an Olympic silver medal in Beijing today. It was Canada's 14th medal at these summer Games.

Émilie Heymans, who hails from the South Shore but trains in Pointe Claire with coach Yi Hua Li, won silver in the 10 metre platform diving.

Chen Ruolin of China won gold in the event.
