"We are without words, as Thomas Hall raced to his bronze medal finish this morning (Friday) in his C-1 1000m final at the Beijing Olympics. Please join us in celebration of Thomas` success and to cheer on fellow team mate Andrew Willows as he races the K-2 500m final (Saturday at 4:35 a.m. Montreal time)," stated Stephanie Kobzan, administration ast.-head at the club.

Willows'event is the Olympic Canoe-Kayak Finals.

The Summer Games closing ceremonies will be held Sunday.

West Islanders should note most local Olympic athletes are expected to land at Pierre Trudeau Airport in Dorval Monday night (between 9:30 p.m. and midnight).
