In an unbelievable show of teamwork and determination the Ile Bizard Bantam B Aigles beat the Lachine Rapides 2-1 in a closely fought battle that ended in overtime.  The Rapides had taken an early lead, scoring in the first period.  With 1:45 remaining in the game the Aigles took advantage of a Lachine penalty and pulled their goaltender to go 6-on-4.   With defenseman Brandon Hall sliding to save an open net goal attempt by the Rapides, A pass up the ice resulted in Matthew McLaughlin releasing a blistering slapshot to score the tying goal with 37 seconds remaining.  Early in overtime a quick pass from Mathias Morin-Demers  allowed Nicolas Benoit to score on a slapshot to win the game.

This stunning victory was just one more in a series of exciting moments in the series, which included a comeback in Game 2 against St. Laurent, where the Aigles scored two goals with less than 40 seconds remaining, and won in shootout.  Several players shined, including stellar goaltending by Alexander (Aza) Saad, and point leaders James Bedi, with 9 points, and Nicolas Benoit, with 6 points.

The other dedicated team members contributing to this big win were Sander Wolfs, Quinn Lague, Dimitri Kampitsis, Jai Dulat, Ryan Dargis, William Soucy, Mathieu Hamaoui, Thierry Labbe; in addition to the stellar coaching staff of Warren Hall, Richard Soucy and Tracie McGee.
