The Forest of Wishes lets companies grant the wishes of one of the community groups supported by West Island Community Shares. 10 community groups will decorate a tree with the items they are most in need of. These groups will have their wish granted by the sponsoring companies and by the public drive that will take place at Fairview on Saturday, December 12th from 10am to 5 pm.
How you can help:
· Sponsor a tree with your logo for $2,500 and obtain great visibility at Fairview - Only 7 trees left!
·Organize a drive in your company to collect the much-needed items that are on the groups’ wish list:
o Art supplies
o Books
o Children snow suits, boots, mittens, hats, pyjamas
o Non-perishable food
o Diapers
o Toys
· We will provide you will all the marketing materials to set up the drive in your company.
· Drop by Fairview on December 12th to donate some items to the Forest of Wishes
· There will be radio promotion about the drive on the Q92.5FM.
The items donated through the employee drive will be distributed to meet the groups’ most pressing needs.
