Cap St. Jacques Park opens beach for the summer

Cap St. Jacques Beach, a West Island summertime icon, opened for the sumemr last weekend. The Pierrefonds beach, situated on the shores of Riviere des Prairies and accessible by Gouin Boulevard in western Pierrefonds welcomes visitors sevsn days a week.

Lifeguards patrol the beach, and fun activities, such as beach volleyball, nature hikes and water games are available as well.

Entrants are allowed to bring picnic lunches and beverages and picnic areas are provided by the park. A snack bar is also conveniently located for those who prefer to purchase snacks and drinks.
