Schering-Plough Canada is doing voluntary work
Ten Schering-Plough Canada employees is giving back to the community by working Friday as landscape gardeners for the West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped.
These employees volunteer as part of the company-sponsored Let’s Make a Difference
community support program. “Schering-Plough Canada is pleased to have employees work in the community for these organizations,” said Carlos Dourado, president and general manager, Schering-Plough Canada. “Both organizations make great contributions to the West Island and as a neighbor, we are happy to help them.”
“It is so kind that employees of a local company have come to volunteer at our home,” said Mary Rainville, residential coordinator, WIAIH.
Another team of volunteers will be painting at the Omega Group Home in Pierrefonds, which welcomes adults with a mental illness on June 21st. (Source: GGA Communications)
