Volunteer Assisted Services need volunteer drivers that will accompany clients to medical appointments. Parking permits will be issued to each driver and they will be compensated for operating expenses.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Quebec is still in need of volunteers to do some office work and help recruit volunteers for their fundraising campaign that takes place in February.

Literacy Unlimited, a community resource dedicated to the advancement of literacy, is looking for a volunteer treasurer to serve on its Board of Directors. Requirements include a financial background (experience with QuickBooks accounting software an asset), and availability of a few hours a week (mostly work from home). Volunteer West Island is trying to put together a team of volunteers to help with their Senior’s Cafè, which takes place once a month.
