Car rental jacking
Do you think renting cars is too expensive? Some people agree with you. A rental agency on Sources Boulevard was broken into early Friday at dawn. Its cash register was emptied and seven of its vehicles stolen. Police have no description of the suspects, but four of the cars have since been found. Three four-door Chryslers are still missing
From bad to worse
The situation went from bad to worse on Sunday for one Dollard des Ormeaux man. He and some friends were having fun in a parking lot off St. John’s Boulevard in Pointe Claire, pulling some stunts in their car.
Police noticed them at 7 p.m. and stopped them for dangerous driving, but realized the 22-year-old passenger in the back seat was not wearing his seatbelt. In order to write him a ticket, the officers asked for the man’s identification. As he was pulling his wallet out of his pocket, a bag or narcotics fell to the ground, and the officers arrested the Dollard man for drug possession.
Locker vandalism
An apartment resident on Alexander Street in Pierrefonds called police after hearing a group of youths making noise in the basement on Saturday evening and discovering that several tenants' lockers had been broken into and their contents spread on the floor.
Police ticketed the youth on the next morning for vandalism.

Comment online since January 24th 2008Renting cars can be VERY expensive if you don't know how to save from the begining. Just knowing how far you will be traveling can offer you an opportunity to save Big Money on your gas with the right coupon for a FREE TANK! As far as the theft of the rental cars and the cash drawer...thank goodness no car rental operators were hurt in any way. Lets hope they have insurance to cover their losses.
