Lions win another round
The Lac St. Louis Lions are set for the semi-finals after eliminating the Patriotes de Châteauguay on Sunday in the second round of the Quebec Midget AAA Hockey League playoffs.
After losing game four by a 6-2 margin last Friday, the Lions won the best-of-five-series with a 2-1 score over the Patriotes Sunday in Dollard des Ormeaux.
Lions' goalie Louis Boileau-Domingue, with 34 saves, was named the game's first star Sunday. So far in eight playoffs games, the Lac St. Louis netminder boasts a .918 save percentage and 2.31 goals-against average.
The Lions now face L'Intrepide de Gatineau in the CCM division final, starting 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Dollard Civic Centre. The Lions will be on the road for game two (Friday) but return home for game three (Saturday).
