Objective: Beautify Montreal

The photography contest presented by your weekly newspaper in partnership with the City of Montreal continues until July 31. At the end of the competition, 57 winners will be chosen – three per borough – and honoured during a ceremony at City Hall.

Montreal’s 19 boroughs are taking part in the contest. The winners will share over $6,000 in prizes, including a Miele bicycle and a bundle of photography accessories worth $1,500, STM passes, as well as a weekend for two at a prestigious Montreal hotel and a sumptuous dinner at the chic Nuances restaurant at the Montreal Casino.

Residents of the 19 boroughs can easily take part for free through the contest’s website by submitting up to three photos taken anywhere in Montreal. Visit www.concoursphoto2008.com and show us the beautiful sides on Montreal you recently captured in photographs.
