Maison des Jeunes de Pierrefonds – this is a youth center for 12 to 18 year olds from the West Island, they are recruiting volunteers to interact with teens through conversation, and activities like playing pool, movies, video games, music, etc. Volunteers work in shifts from 2:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Manoir de l’Ouest de L’Ile – is a long term care facility located in Pierrefonds, they need volunteers to visit with their patients also to animate games, helping seniors to get to and from activities etc. A short training session and supervision is provided.

Projet Communautaire Pierrefonds – provides services and programs for low-income and immigrant families. Volunteers are needed to assist elementary school children with their homework after school.

Centre Multi Ressources de Lachine - volunteers are needed to help with a carnival day on Sunday September 14th to celebrate their 25th anniversary. It will take place at their location in Lachine from noon to 4 p.m.



CHSLD Pierrefonds – is a long term care facility for seniors, they are always in need of volunteers for friendly visits to their residents, also they need volunteers to accompany seniors to their medical appointments (transportation is provided).

West Island Association for Intellectually Handicapped – is recruiting volunteers for their upcoming Art Show which will take place on Sept 6th and 7th at Stewart Hall in Pointe Claire.
