This Young Achiever's leadership skills are getting stronger every day. Shawn is a two-time winner of the Best Junior Lifeguard and Best Spirit Award at Lakeside Pool in Pointe Claire. The John Rennie High School student is a member of the pool's swim, diving, and water-polo team, and even takes time out of the day to spend time with younger swimmers and even runs a successful pet-sitting service out of his home. In winter despite a demanding schedule with the elite Midget Espoir West Island Royals, the Pointe Claire resident finds time to hone his leadership skills. Lakeside Pool manager Tim Comerford wrote that "Shawn Watson is one of the most enthusiastic and motivating young people I have ever encountered." High praise indeed. Congratulations, Shawn!
