Zahra is an accomplished Young Achievers who crams as much as she can into every day! The Kirkland resident is an all-around athlete – an all-star basketball player with the West Island Lakers Basketball Association (WILBA) and a key member of her Pointe Claire Soccer team. Zahra also works tirelessly on behalf of Amnesty International and when concerned about global warming, created ethanol fuel from household waste for a Villa Maria High School science project, which won her a gold medal. She also raised money for cancer research and donated her time to a seniors' residence and to collect food for Christmas baskets. There's more. The honour-roll student was also a member of the school's robotics team and also competed in the Gauss math competition and spelling bees. Congratulations, Zahra!
