Family Matters Workshop Drug Awareness & Prevention –February 18
Macdonald High School Parent Participation proudly presents another "free"

workshop for parents, students and the community, entitled "Drug awareness & prevention – illegal drugs & bright futures don’t mix". This is the 6th in our series of free workshops and is to be held on Wednesday, February 18, 7:00-9:00 pm at Macdonald High School in the library (17 Maple, Ste-Anne de Bellevue macdonald.lbpsb.qc.ca) and is open to everyone.

This workshop's objectives are to help parents learn what are the common drugs, what is available to our teens, warning signs, why teens take drugs, resisting peer pressure, police intervention and how to support our youth through their teenage years. We are fortunate to have J.P. Levis, Community Police Representative as our guest speaker. We are also grateful to have some students who are able to speak to these issues from personal experience. Please email us at macppo@gmail.com to confirm your attendance, as seating is limited; spaces still available! Remember that our teens are worth it! Hope to see you there!
