It’s official

The official re-opening ceremony of the renovated Pointe Claire Library’s central branch was held last Wednesday evening.

Improvements to the library, located next to Pointe Claire city hall, include new carpeting, a new circulation desk, better security as well as a bathroom accessible to the physically handicapped.

Pointe Claire Mayor Bill McMurchie and library officials held a wine and cheese ceremony last week. The mayor also drew names for contest during the event.
