Participation rates close to 20 per cent in local ridings as of 2:30 p.m.
As of 2:30 p.m. today, participation in Jacques Cartier riding was 26.6 per cent, the highest in West Island.
Next came Vaudreuil with 21.5 per cent, Marquette with 19.7 per cent and Nelligan with 17.2 per cent. Robert Baldwin’s figures were not available at that time.

In total, these percentages represent 41,733 people, out of approximately 197,347 registered voters in those four ridings. Our website will be presenting your local results shortly after polls close at 8 p.m.
