West Island sticks with Liberal MNAs
ADQ pulls in solid second in West Island ridings
Incumbents re-elected but no longer part of a majority government
In a night where almost nothing went as expected, some things did.

The Liberal incumbents in all five West Island ridings were elected handily.

Geoff Kelley (Jacques Cartier) Pierre Marsan (Robert Baldwin) Yolande James (Nelligan) François Ouimet (Marquette) and Yvon Marcoux (Vaudreuil) were all re-elected by large margins in their respective ridings tonight.

Kelley, James, Marsan and Marcoux were among the first candidates declared elected, with Ouimet facing tougher-than-expected competition in PQ candidate Daniel Hurteau and ADQ candidate Mark Yerbury.
