SOUTHPORT, England - Leader K.J. Choi and Greg Norman are on course as gusting winds are forecast again throughout the third round of the 137th British Open.
The South Korean birdied his final two holes en route to a 3-under 67 in round two and is 1-under for the tournament, a shot ahead of the 53-year-old Australian.
Norman captured the Claret Jug at Turnberry in 1986 and then again at Royal St. George's seven years later. Now he's trying to become the oldest player to win a major.
Three weeks ago, Norman married former tennis star Chris Evert.
Canadian Mike Weir finished the third round with a 4-over-74, to sit at 11-over-par after 54 holes.
Calgary's Stephen Ames is 3-over through his first six holes to sit at 6-over-par for the tournament.
