SURREY, B.C. - The B.C. couple severely injured in a fiery bus crash in Egypt on their honeymoon will return to Canada tonight.
Steve Pannu says his daughter Jennifer and her husband Richard El Adam are due to arrive at Vancouver International Airport aboard British Airways flight 85 at 6:15 p.m. Pacific time.
Pannu says the couple are already out of hospital in Egypt and are making the first leg of their trip via Europe.
He says a team of nurses from the United States and France is travelling with them.
Jennifer lost her arm and suffered burns and internal injuries when the tour bus carrying the couple flipped and burned on a highway about 70 kilometres southeast of the Suez Canal on May 1.
Her husband also suffered burns and internal injuries in the crash which killed nine tourists and injured 30 more.
