LONDON, Ont. - A law firm in London, Ont., is appealing for donations to help a woman whose father was killed in her apartment last week - allegedly by her brother.
Wayne Dahr, 54, who was visiting London from Halifax, was found dead a week ago in his daughter's apartment with stab wounds to his neck. His son, Jason Dahr, 33, is charged with second-degree murder.
Tammy Dahr is in hospital with terminal cancer and has been told she is not well enough to attend her father's funeral in Halifax.
She may have to cover part of the cost of the funeral and would like to move out of the apartment her father was killed in, but she has been out of work since mid-March.
Judith Hull and Associates is asking anyone who wants to help Tammy Dahr to make donations to Royal Bank.
