LITTLE GRAND RAPIDS, Man. - A teenage boy is facing second-degree murder charges in the death of a nine-year-old boy on a remote Manitoba reserve.
Tristian Charlton Dunsford was found dead Friday on the Little Grand Rapids First Nation.
RCMP Sgt. Line Karpish says police have arrested a 16-year-old boy.
The teen, whose name cannot be published because he's a minor, is scheduled to appear in court in Winnipeg on July 2.
Karpish says an autopsy determined Tristian died of blood loss from "sharp force trauma to the neck."
Little Grand Rapids is about 270 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg.
