RIMOUSKI, Que. - Police say at least one person has died in a multi-vehicle pileup involving two trucks and four cars northeast of Quebec City.
An official at a regional hospital says 10 people ended up at the facility and four of them were transported there by ambulance. But only two were admitted for treatment. Quebec provincial police say the victim's car was trapped under one of the trucks.
They say the accident happened when traffic was forced to slow down because of highway construction.
Firefighters were called to the scene near Rimouski, about 300 kilometres from Quebec City, after one of the vehicles caught fire.
Parts of Highway 20 were closed in both directions on Friday.
